Samurai 15-th Denim Bum-Bag

  Special version to celebrate 15-th anniversary of Samurai Jeans  DWB-001-2ND-21Oz. This is collaborate model with Japanese famous vintage shop "2ND" limited only 100 ea were made.With dimension  120*160*45 mm. & 21 Oz denim fabric same as from Samurai model S510XX-21Oz and S5000VX21oz so yes!! it can fade (discoloration). It's design function look like they're used for store cigarette//lighting//mobile or some little stuff .Just take a closer look.

Brass engraved buttons with Samurai logo. Red & Silver Selvedge with Samurai red tag. "upside down" A.

In front have two flap-type pockets. A handwriting signature by samurai jeans President Nogami in  the pocket flip back side to state that this is limited model **.End of top zip also attach with brass button that can use as cover for side-pocket (suit for lighting).

At the back side you will find steel Carabiner Hook. I think the hardware is look cheap quality than my expectation,I will change it with brass hook later (lol).The good thing is it also provide "belt loop" if you need to attach it your belt kinda comfort indeed.

Let see for fit picture I try to put iphone 4s on front-side but as you see it cannot close the cover so for iphone user I suggest to use top pocket instead.

Momotaro x Lightning Jacket

Momotaro X Lightning Jacket

 Momotaro Type 2 Denim Jacket LNG custom version from Momotaro most famous jacket model : 2105SP (Going to Battle Jacket). The jacket is  tight silhouette which is slim in arms & body but it have longer length than normal type 2 jacket so it looks more modern and easy for everyday use.Suit with all T-shirt.Use 15.7 oz selvage denim fabric as normal momotaro jeans under "Going to battle" line production.100 % Zimbabwe cotton with double pocket on both chest. Pre-shrunk (one wash) from Seto sea at Okayama coast thus it's ready to wear and fabric is good in holding color not easy to fade.

Here is a closer look to see what's difference between normal model 2105SP and LNG version.

LNG version make for celebrate when lightning magazine had made their 200th  issue.Limited only 100 ea were made. First and easy to notice is "Going to battle" flag (Two stripes painted on the left-hand : symbol of Japanese tradition representing honor & strength and now it's one of famous signature sign of Momotaro Jeans).Normal version  use white paint while LNG version use "red paint".

For LNG version also have logo "LNG" represent for Lightning Magazine paint in yellow on right chest.

LNG version also come with denim shopping bag with paint logo as below picture.

Closer look at deer leather patch inside. First picture is from normal version,second is from LNG version.

On LNG version it has stamped "LNG the 200TH Anniversary"

At end of button placket on LNG version it has lightning logo purpose to appear when you wear & all button up.The end of placket will spread out and show this logo. 

The last different for both is "Price" off-cause but if judge from above I think it's worth to pay more.

Custom engraved buttons featuring the Momotaro peach & peach tab on left chest are also seen in both version.

Another common thing for both version is they are use "Pink Selvage" (the common features of Momotaro Jeans). As you can see pink selvage is along the interior placket.The pink color represent for "Peach" that imply for Okayama & the peach in Momotaro (famous Japanese folklore story).This pink selvage also to prove that it woven with an old loom. Single button cuff, copper rivets.

Backside on both version have button to adjust if you want to loose fit or slim fit.

    สวัสดีครับ วันนี้ขอพาทุกคนมารู้จักยีนส์ limited ที่น่าสนใจอีกตัวของแบรนด์ Studio D' Artisan รุ่น Champloo Jeans (Oki-515) มาในทรง SD-103 เป็น Tight straight หรือภาษาบ้านๆเราก็ประมาณ "กระบอกเล็ก"ครับ เป็นยีนส์ที่ออกเมื่อ พฤษภาคมปีที่แล้ว (2012) ความพิเศษของยีนส์ตัวนี้คือเป็นยีนส์ที่ทาง Studio ออกมาเพื่อฉลองครบรอบ 40 ปีที่อเมริกาคืนเกาะ โอกินาว่า ให้กับประเทศญี่ปุ่นครับย้อนไปเมื่อวันที่จันทร์ที่ 15 พฤษภาคม 1972 หลังจากที่ยึดและปกครองเกาะ okinawa มานานถึง 26 ปีตั้งแต่จบสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ก่อนจะเข้าเรื่องรายละเอียดของตัวยีนส์ ขอเริ่มที่ชื่อ "Champloo Jeans" ก่อนแล้วกันครับว่ามันมาจากไหน มันมาจากภาษาท้องถิ่นของชาว Okinawa นั่นเองครับ

(Okinawan: チャンプルー Chanpuruu) ซึ่งเป็นชื่อเมนู ปลาผัดเต้าหู้ ที่ถือเป็นอาหารขึ้นชื่อประจำ Okinawa ครับทาง Studio เลยนำชื่อนี้มาใส่ในยีนส์ให้ได้อารมณ์ประมาณว่าเป็นยีนส์แห่ง Okinawa นั่นเอง !! ผ่านเรื่องของชื่อไปแล้ว ที่นี้เข้ามาดูรายละเอียดกันครับ

    เริ่มกันที่ป้ายหนังครับ ตัวนี้ทาง Studio เลือกใช้หนังตัวHIJA ซึ่งก็คือแพะพื้นเมืองโอกินาว่าครับ แต่จะให้หนังที่หนากว่าแพำทั่วไป เอามาปั้มลายด้วยความร้อนเป็นรูปเกาะ Okinawa โดยมีรูปคนซ้ายคือ Mr.Eisaku Sato (佐藤 榮作) นายกรัฐมนตรีญี่ปุ่นในสมัยนั้นกำลังรับมอบเกาะโอกินาว่าคืนจากคนขาวคือ ประธานาธิบดี Nixon ของอเมริกา ด้านซ้ายของภาพมีเจ้าหมู "clipper" อยู่ด้วยแต่ไม่ยักใส่เจ้า indie มาด้วย 555. 

    อ้อลืมไปเจ้า Champloo jeans นี่ทาง Studio ยังตั้งให้อีกชื่อนึงว่า "HEIWA Model" ซึ่งหมายถึงยีนส์แห่งสันติ (Make peach no war) นั่นเองครับ นี่ไงใส่ป้ายหนังระบุลงไปในด้านในของกระเป๋าหลังซะเลยแถม "Made in Okinawa" เลยนะฮ้าฟฟฟ แล้วมันพิเศษตรงไหน ??? มันพิเศษก็ตรงปกติแล้วยีนส์ของ Studio จะออกแบบและตัดเย็บที่ Osaka ไงครับ ไม่เค้ยยย ไม่เคย ทำที่อื่นเลยแต่สำหรับตัวนี้ทาง Studio ได้ร่วมมือกับ Double Volante ซึ่งเป็นโรงงานเย็บผ้าขนาดเล็ก ทั้งโรงงานมีอยู่แค่ 2 คนคือผู้ก่อตั้ง Kuniyoshi-san กับภรรยาของเขา .

    ผ้าที่ใช้เป็นผ้าริมญี่ปุ่น 15Oz. Cotton 100% Raw & Unwash หมายความว่าจะหดเมื่อแช่นั่นเอง.กระเป๋าเหรียญติดธงญี่ปุ่น ด้านในกระเป๋าหน้ามีการใส่ด้ายเข้าไปบริเวณขอบจากรูปที่สอง เพื่อเพิ่มความแข็งแกร่ง Button fly//Crotch Rivet ตามแบบฉับบของยีนส์ทั่วๆไป.

    บริเวณกระดุมเม็ดบนเย็บแบบ V stitch .ด้านบริเวณกระเป๋าหลังด้านขาวที่เห็นสีแดงๆในรูปที่สอง ไม่ใช่ red tab นะครับ แต่เป็นงานปักมือเป็นสัญลักษณ์ตัว โอ หมายถึงเมือง Okinawa นั่นเองครับ.ยังครับยังไม่หมด ต่อๆ...

    ด้านในส่วนซับในกระเป๋าหน้าด้านซ้ายยังมีเย็บมือเป็นอักษรตัว A สีแดงอันใหญ่ๆ โดยงานเย็บทั้งหมดทำโดยช่างฝีมือโบราณที่สืบทอดกันมาร่วม 50 ปีครับ ท่าทางคนปักคงจะแก่น่าดู . อ้อส่วนเลขข้างล่างเป็น Serial no. ครับโดยรุ่นนี้ออกมาทั้งหมด 515 ตัว ตัวนี้เป็นตัวสุดท้ายพอดี .ในส่วนริมเป็นริมสีน้ำเงินเพื่อสะท้อนถึงสีน้ำทะเลของเมือง Okinawa โอ้ววคิดได้แหะ แต่ก็สวยดีครับ ปลายขาก็เย็บลูกโซ่ด้วยจักรยูเนี่ยนเหมือนพวกยีนส์ vintage ทั่วๆไป.

    สำหรับ Fitpic จะเห็นว่าทรงจะไม่เล็ก ไม่ใหญ่จนเกินไปครับเหมาะสำหรับใส่กับบู๊ทหรือรองเท้าลำลองทั่วไป นี่ถ้าแช่และให้ผ้าหดตัวน่าจะเข้ารูปได้สวยงามครับ ส่วนใครที่สนใจดู size chart ข้างล่างแล้วหาที่สั่งกันตาม internet เอาเองเลยครับ ปล.ขอบคุณรูปจาก บิ๊ก และราคูเทน และขอจบรีวีวแต่เพียงเท่านี้ ขอบคุณทุกท่านที่สละเวลาอ่านครับ.
